“should be number 1” – Chelsea legend Frank Lampard names ex-teammate as best winger in England now

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has named Mo Salah as the best winger in the Premier League at the moment. He recently did a ranking game with ESPN’s TikTok account. The former English international was asked to rank between Michael Olise, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, and Salah. The Egyptian came in fifth on Lampard’s blind ranking.

Lampard, however, made it clear that his former Blues teammate is the best in the league. The legendary midfielder added that Salah deserves plaudits for what he has achieved over the past seven years. He said (via The Boot Room):

“Mohamed Salah should be number 1 for what he has achieved over the past few years. Mohamed Salah should be one, this is on camera, Mo, Mo Salah should be one for what he has achieved over the past seven years.”
