Osimhen ‘CONVINCED’ he will get dream Premier League transfer

Victor Osimhen remains firm in his belief that he will get the move to Arsenal , Chelsea or Manchester United that he dreams of this summer, according to a report. Napoli forward Osimhen has been on the shortlist of the Premier League giants for months, yet one by one, their interest has waned.

After signing a new contract last season, Osimhen’s release clause has jumped above €120 million, meaning that he would represent a club-record buy for either Arsenal or Man Utd , but also a lavish purchase for a Chelsea side that needs to make sales before they buy this summer.

At present, none of these three outfits are prepared to match his release figure, which Napoli are standing by as their demand. Instead, the only team willing to pay the €120m that the Serie A outfit are stipulating is Saudi Pro League team Al-Ahli. They are also willing to pay Osimhen €15m per year for the duration of a three-year deal. The player, though, wants a switch to the Premier League.

CalcioNapoli24 reports that the Nigeria star remains sure his dream will come true. It reports:

“Saudi Arabia is pressuring Osimhen who is convinced that in the end, one of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United will buy him.”

Why a deal is NOT dead

Despite the current stance of the Premier League trio, there remains a possibility that he will wind up in England. Napoli have budgeted for a big sale, and without European football in any form next season may need to offload their prized asset. Furthermore, dallying over a move will do the Italian side little good.

They need to find an Osimhen replacement and can only do that with the influx of funds that he will bring. Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku is one possibility. This is simply part of the negotiating game, with Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal apparently willing to wait it out until Osimhen’s transfer fee finally drops.
