Man Utd ready new bid, Chelsea’s Musiala hope, Arsenal’s new Mudryk battle

Sundayday gossip: we delivered plenty of news as Man Utd readied their new Jarrad Branthwaite bid. Plus, Arsenal and Chelsea are embroiled in a new Mykhailo Mudryk-style battle and the Blues have been given hope regarding Jamal Musiala. There’s plenty to cover, so let’s jump right in.

Man Utd’s next Branthwaite bid

Football Transfers can exclusively reveal that Man Utd are not deterred by having had their ‘derisory’ opening bid for Jarrad Branthwaite knocked back; there is more to come. However, Arsenal could throw a spanner in the works by swooping for a different Everton star. And as a replacement, the Toffees are lining up the most unexpected of players.

Dovbyk battle

Arsenal and Chelsea are set to go head-to-head for Girona striker Artem Dovbyk, similar to their Mykhailo Mudryk battle of last year.

Chelsea’s Musiala hope

Chelsea likely won’t be able to re-sign Jamal Musiala anytime soon, but the Blues stand to earn a significant amount of money from a potential transfer.

Musiala starred on opening day of Euro 2024 and the action continued on the second day as more players joined him in the scoring charts. Another wonderkid, Lamine Yamal, became the youngest-ever player in tournament history. He also became the youngest player to notch an assist.

Yamal is also popular in the Messi household, with Lionel’s eldest son revealing that he wants to play alongside the Barcelona starlet one day.
