New Chelsea 2024/25 Nike home shirt images ‘leaked’ as full kit for Enzo Maresca’s team revealed

It is fair to say that Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea team are going to stand out on the pitch throughout the 2024/25 season. Ahead of the new Premier League campaign, the Blues are yet to officially unveil their latest Nike home shirt but plenty of images have been doing the rounds on social media, with a few more published online courtesy of X user @sneakermarketro .

Supporters shouldn’t have too much longer to wait to see Christopher Nkunku, Reece James and the rest of the team in the new jersey, though, as their first pre-season game is just around the corner. Chelsea have six pre-season friendlies on the calendar this summer, with the first coming against League One side Wrexham in Santa Clara, California on Thursday, July 25 (3am BST) .

In terms of Chelsea’s latest home shirt, the design is rather bold with orange featuring prominently on the shirt and shorts . What is perhaps most striking about Nike’s latest effort is that is has a water-like effect across the shirt as it features a number of thin white lines and lighter blue elements. The new pattern is complemented by orange detailing around the club crest, Nike logo and shirt cuffs.

Once again, the Chelsea badge is iridescent as was the case in the 2023/24 season. Rather than opting for a gold-tinged style like last term, this time the badge has a light blue inner shade with an orange outline. The Nike logo also follows suits with an orange outline.

Orange is then present on the shirt cuffs, with an orange and white trim finishing off the shirt. Very much a rather different design from Nike and one that is incredibly striking, it doesn’t quite stop there as the shorts also follow a similar style. Instead of maybe opting for a plain pair of blue shorts with some orange detail on there, the water-like effect is replicated so it flows with the new home shirt.

Again, the Chelsea badge and Nike emblem have orange detailing around the outside. In comparison, the new home socks appear to be rather tame. On the images published by @sneakermarketro on X, Chelsea will have plain white socks featuring a black Nike tick.

It is undoubtedly a shirt that will be a big talking point amongst Chelsea supporters and also football fans in general. Chelsea will wear their new home shirt in the Premier League for the first time when they host Man City at Stamford Bridge on the opening weekend of the 2024/25 season.
